My Story

Veteran to Visionary

Jeremy Parkins grew up in Tiffin, Ohio until he was 15 years old. While in Tiffin, Mr. Parkins came from a broken home, living with his single mother and his two sisters. A product of welfare and unfortunate events led to a troubled childhood. At 15, his mother married and his family relocated outside of Logan, Ohio. A year later the family would again relocate, but this time to Williamsport, Ohio. With very little male guidance and a small group of friends; Mr. Parkins continued down a path that would lead to either prison or death.

After a scare due to a brush with the legal system, Mr. Parkins considered enlisting in the military. However, at age 19 life had chosen a different path, fatherhood. While living  on the Westside of Columbus, Ohio and struggling to provide a life for his family; Mr. Parkins enlisted in the United States Air Force. He would serve Honorably from 1997-2005.

After leaving the military, Mr. Parkins' experienced troubles as he struggled with transitional hardships. Multiple ups and downs, trials and tribulations led him on path of self-awareness and focus. Mr. Parkins received his Master's of Science in Justice and Security Administration in 2015. He has become a residential expert on military transitional hardships, the justice system, and nonprofit program development. Today, he continues to work with Veterans who need mentorship and peer-support, developed a statewide nonprofit for Veterans, and has coached many Veterans and Entrepreneurs both on the trials of life and business.
